La Alcaldía de Santo Domingo Norte (ASDN), dispuso la ampliación de los puntos de socorro en balnearios y principales avenidas, como parte del «Plan Operativo Semana Santa 2022», el cual busca evitar accidentes de tránsito, intoxicaciones y ahogamientos en el municipio.
Dichos puestos contarán con un personal cualificado para atender distintos tipos de emergencias durante el asueto de la Semana Mayor.
El anuncio lo hizo el secretario general de la ASDN, Pedro Castaños, quien informó que los balnearios habilitados durante este periodo son: El río Higüero, el río Ozama en el puente de Hacienda Estrella y el balneario del Cabon en Mata Mamon. También están habilitados el río Guanuma y el río Las Mercedes.
En ese sentido, se ordenó la clausura de los ríos Mal Nombre, Isabela Norte y el Ocho de la Victoria, donde un grupo de militares se mantendrá para evitar el ingreso de bañistas.
“La Alcaldía de Santo Domingo Norte fijará puntos preventivos en las avenidas Ecológica intersección Jacobo Majluta, en la calle Sanchez esquina Jacobo Majluta, Circunvalación de Santo Domingo en la entrada de Mata Gorda y en el kilometro 18 de la carretera Yamasa” destacó Pedro Castaños.
El secretario general de la ASDN, agregó que otros puestos preventivos y de socorro estarán ubicados en los cruces de Harás Nacionales, Villa Mella, en las avenidas Hermanas Mirabal equina Ecológica, Charles de Gaulle en el cruce de Sabana Perdida y en la Vieja Barquita, en el furgón de la Defensa Civil.
Castaños aseguró que el alcalde Carlos Guzmán, junto a la Dirección de Gestión Ambiental, cientos de autoridades y colaboradores, estará personalmente supervisando los balnearios, destinos ecoturístico y las entradas del municipio, a fin de salvaguardar la vida de los ciudadanos.
Por otro lado, informó que la Alcaldía permitirá el uso de piscinas inflables que los ciudadanos acostumbran a instalar en los alrededores de sus viviendas, indicando que estarán supervisando diversos sectores a fin de que se mantenga el orden y tranquilidad durante el asueto de Semana Santa.
La ASDN, además distribuirá material informativo y repartirá kits médicos a las personas que se desplazan por las diferentes avenidas y carreteras de SDN.
En otro orden el cabildo llevará a los distintos sectores del municipio actividades recreativas con el propósito de que los ciudadanos puedan recrearse durante el periodo de la Semana Santa, entre la que se destacan: Juegos de baskeball, voleibol, vitilla, dominó, juegos infantiles, entre otros.
En los operativos de Semana Santa 2022 en SDN que comenzará el Jueves Santo hasta el Domingo de Resurrección participarán más de 500 voluntarios de diferentes entidades gubernamentales para brindar asistencia oportuna y efectiva a los ciudadanos que ameriten los servicios, mientras se desplazan en las avenidas del municipio.
A los operativos se integrarán el Sistema Nacional de Atención a Emergencias y Seguridad 911, el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia (COE), Salud Pública, la Defensa Civil, Fuerza Aérea, Onamet, Ministerio de la Presidencia, la Cruz Roja, Digesett, la Policía Nacional, la Comisión Militar y Policial del MOPC (CoMiPolRD), el Ministerio de Defensa y el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), entre otras instituciones públicas.
