La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet) vaticina que los aguaceros continuarán en gran parte del país en la tarde y noche de este lunes, mañana, martes, y el miércoles producto de la activa vaguada que incide sobre el territorio nacional.
En respuesta a las condiciones meteorológicas, el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia mantiene nueve provincias en alerta amarilla y seis en verde, y reportó 230 personas que abandonaron sus hogares por las precipitaciones, refugiándose en casas de familias y amigos.
El boletín del COE, del mediodía de hoy, informa, además, de 15 acueductos fuera de servicio que afectan a 143,857 usuarios, y 46 viviendas afectadas por las precipitaciones.
La Onamet pronostica que en el transcurso de la tarde los aguaceros con tronadas se extiendan mayormente hacia puntos del interior ubicados en las regiones noroeste, norte, noreste, suroeste y la Cordillera Central, esperándose una disminución de los mismos entrada la noche.
Sin embargo, a partir de la madrugada del martes, la vaguada continuará generando un ambiente meteorológico bastante húmedo e inestable sobre el territorio nacional, con nublados, acompañados de aguaceros, de moderados a fuertes, tormentas eléctricas y ráfagas de viento en provincias próximas al litoral costero sur, la porción oriental y el centro del país.
Luego los aguaceros se extenderán hacia otras localidades en el noroeste, norte, noreste, sureste, suroeste y la Cordillera Central ese mismo martes.
El miércoles, según la Onamet, la activa vaguada permanecerá incidiendo en las condiciones del tiempo, con más precipitaciones en la mayor parte de la República Dominicana, “desde tempranas horas del día y en especial en la tarde y primeras horas de la noche”.
