El precandidato a senador de la provincia de Monte Plata, por el Partido Revolucionario moderno (PRM), Asmín Aquino, valoró la explicación técnica ofrecida por el administrador general de la Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (Edeeste), ingeniero Andrés Julio Portes, sobre la situación del sistema energético de la demarcación.
Aquino precisó que la línea de comunicaciones y de trabajos establecidas por Edeeste podrán dar respuestas en un tiempo prudente a las principales problemáticas que han presentado los diferentes sectores productivos y la población de Monte Plata.
“El diálogo siempre debe ser la primera opción, y esta administración del Estado dominicano que encabeza el presidente Luis Abinader ha demostrado que sabe escuchar a la gente sin importar su clase social, sino a todos en sentido general”, acotó.
El también empresario ecoturístico destacó que el ingeniero Portes es uno de los funcionarios que ha ido a Monte Plata a explicar y dar respuestas, lo que no sucedía en pasados gobiernos, ya que la gente para ser escuchada tenía que atrincherarse en las calles.
El especialista en cirugía plástica y reconstructiva indicó que el presidente Luis Abinader sabe que Monte Plata necesita una reconstrucción total en todas las áreas de los servicios, ya que 20 años de abandono se nota, por lo que valoró las atenciones a los reclamos de la población, a través de las obras que se ejecutan.
