El síndico del Municipio de Castañuelas, provincia Montecristi, Winston Álvarez, desafió anoche abiertamente al gobierno que encabeza el presidente Luis Abinader, al repetir durante un acto de inauguración, que contó con la presencia de autoridades locales del PRM, que “sí se puede mirar hacia atrás”, en alusión a la pasada gestión del partido morado.
En medio de la inauguración del boulevard de Loma de Castañuelas, al funcionario poco le importó la presencia de la gobernadora, Nelsy Milagros Cruz, el diputado Rosendy Polanco y otras autoridades que si responden al gobierno de turno.
La posición de Winston Álvarez, quien llegó a la alcaldía bajo una alianza PLD-PRD, sorprendió a más de uno, tras considerar algunos se trató de un irespeto, sobre todo, cuando ha contado con la mano amiga del gobierno.
El domingo último, en medio de un encuentro con la militancia del oficialista Partido Revolucionario Moderno, el presidente Luis Abinader invitó al pueblo dominicano a no mirar hacia el pasado.
Mientras que Alvarez se sumó a las voces opositoras que comparan la actual gestión con la pasada.
